Job Title:Product Group Manager
Location: Guangzhou
 
Requirements:
 
1)     A profound knowledge of safety industry (PPE preferred) or related industries, with experience of occupational, health and safety industry.
2)     The candidates have preferably good knowledge in at least one of the following product categories: eye protection, hearing protection, hand protection, respiratory, etc.
3)     Excellent project management and time management ability in addition to the strong presentation and communications skills with good command of English language and Microsoft Office
4)     B.S. in Business, Marketing or related field preferred. At least 3 years experience in product management in a comparable industry.
5)     Familiarity with international standards and local regulations in safety industry.
6)     The work experience should be at least 5 years;
 
Job Description
 
1)     The position will interface with our international Strategic Business Units (SBU) including product development, R & D, QC and our Market Business Units (MBU) including sales, marketing and SCM.
2)     Supports strategic marketing activities to realize the sales objectives of the assigned product group. Facilitate the regular communications with SBUs for the new product development, pricing decisions, product segmentation, product rationalizations, packaging to prioritize new competitive opportunities of assigned product group.
3)     Works with SBUs to develop concepts and designs for new, innovative and marketable products and modifications of existing products tailored for Asian market. Through product improvement and innovation, creates market demand to ensure the customer satisfaction.
4)     Works together with Marketing and Sales to develop and implement the plans and strategies for key products through appropriate advertising, launch events, promotions, seminars and sales support materials to create new competitive opportunities.
5)     Works with SCM to develop strategic planning and demand planning for increases/decreases in inventory of specific products.
6)     Works with sales team to offer product expertise, technical support and training program to internal sales team, the distributors and the end users for assigned product categories. Provides timely answers to the field sales regarding technical issues, product application recommendations, and other product related requests
7)     Identifies new market trends of competitive actions and customer reactions, develops the timely proposal to communicate with SBUs and MBUs, and drive the solutions to the new market trend.
